Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tour Consultant to join our team at Tych Business Solutions. This role involves designing tour packages, negotiating rates, and converting inquiries into bookings profitably.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist in designing tour packages by skillfully negotiating and contracting rates.
  • Understand clients' needs and requirements.
  • Develop product knowledge through on-the-job training and attending prescribed roadshows.
  • Ensure timely responses to clients and provide feedback to relevant parties.

Key Performance Areas
  1. Create and maintain profitable sales.
  2. Communicate accurate product knowledge and information to clients.
  3. Offer and update clients on options and the reasoning behind recommendations.
  4. Apply effective selling and tracking techniques to close every potential sale or inquiry.
  5. Reduce transaction turnaround times and ensure effective communication with suppliers and the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in the Inbound Tourism sector, preferably for a DMC/Inbound Tour operator.
  • Minimum 2 years within an inbound tour operator environment.
  • Knowledge of Southern African countries and trends.

Packages & Remuneration

Market-related salary and uncapped commission.
