About the Role

This Administration Officer position is responsible for handling administrative tasks, managing office duties, and maintaining a welcoming environment. We are looking for someone who can prioritize tasks effectively and work independently with minimal supervision.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. They will also be flexible to work evenings and weekends when necessary.

Salary: $65,000 per annum (estimated based on national averages).

Key Responsibilities
  • Reception and General Duties: Manage general office tasks, ensure a welcoming environment, and serve as the first point of contact.
  • Suppliers and Maintenance: Handle supplier communications, coordinate maintenance requests, and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Markets and Events: Support market and event coordination, including occasional evening and weekend work.
  • Stationery and Stock Management: Assist with stationery inventory and stocktaking.
  • Parent and Staff Queries: Address queries received via various platforms and provide administrative support to staff and learners.
  • Financial Management: Manage petty cash, process cash receipts, and assist with wages and debtors.
  • Social Media Updates: Maintain and update social media platforms as needed.
  • Enrollment and Applications: Assist with new enrollment inquiries, transport and aftercare applications, and manage transport routes.
  • Support for Educators: Provide administrative support to teachers and assist student teachers as required.
