Technical Sales Specialist for Security Solutions

This role is responsible for achieving sales, revenues, and profitability targets within the allocated client base or area. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and developing new clients deemed suitable for the company within the allocated client base or area.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for achieving sales, revenues, and profitability targets within the allocated client base or area.
- Identify and develop new clients deemed suitable for the company within the allocated client base or area.
- Provide regular feedback and reports on activity within the specified client base or area.
- Participate in the presentation of potential solutions to clients and negotiate Service Level Agreements in line with company policies.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to accommodate company objectives, targets, and budgets.
- Review market analysis to determine customer needs and recommend price schedules and discount rates.
- Deliver sales presentations to clients and display or demonstrate product features.
- Regularly meet with clients to assist with sales quotes, literature, technical support, marketing material, and training.
- Monitor and evaluate competition activities and products.
- Ensure calendar/CRM system is updated with client contact details and activities.
- Use sales tools provided by the company effectively.
- Forecast current and future potential business within the client base.
- Schedule client visits in line with company and client requirements.
- Travel throughout the assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers.
- Provide effective delivery of training within the client base or area.
- Assist with the preparation of client quotations in line with company ISO procedures.
- Attend trade shows and product launches as scheduled by the company.
- Assist with all Stock Takes.
Minimum Requirements
- Matric Certificate
- Three to five years' experience in the security industry
- Current valid driver's license
- Fully insured for business use, road-worthy, and licensed motor vehicle
- Must be computer literate
- Sales-related qualifications and/or training will be an advantage
- Interpersonal skills
- Alarms/Access Control, Fire, and CCTV technical and sales experience
- Proven sales track record
