As a High School English Home Language Educator at SPARK Schools, you will play a critical role in driving student achievement and academic growth. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, collaborating with colleagues to develop rigorous and personalized learning experiences, and analyzing data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement integrated inquiry-based curriculum
- Analyze data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
- Develop and implement individualized behavior and learning plans for students
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practice
- English language fluency
- Completed B.Ed or PGCE degree in English FET or English Home Language FET
- 2-3 years' high school teaching experience (1-2 years' experience teaching Grd 11-12 preferred)
- SACE registration
- Clear/Clean criminal record
