Job Description


We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Sealed Air Corporation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent financial and administrative skills, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

The successful candidate will provide financial, administrative, and clerical support to the company, performing a variety of routine and accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures under general supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial support, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording transactions.
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions relating to suppliers and customers.
• Ensure that all supplier accounts and related records are processed and reconciled on a monthly basis.
• Maintain the accounts payable system to ensure complete and accurate records.

• Perform accounts receivable duties, including verifying customer invoices, sending statements of accounts, and receiving payments.
• Maintain accurate filing of all supplier and customer-related documentation.

• Prepare the Audit File in terms of supplier accounts and customer accounts.
• Assist with internal and external audit requirements relating to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.

• Ensure Operations Procedures and other communications from Management are adhered to.
• Perform other fair, reasonable, and lawful assignments as requested by management.

• Ensure consistent alignment to the relevant elements of the BRC and OHS.
• Work with colleagues to foster relationships and a culture of teamwork in line with the Business Strategy and Company Policy.

Requirements


• Degree or Diploma in Accounting or equivalent tertiary study.
• Microsoft Office skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills in English.
• Previous experience in a related role and in the FMCG industry would be an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Logical decision-making.
• Analytically orientated.
• High levels of integrity and honesty.
• Good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
• Ability to identify trends.
• Ability to work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
