Job Title: Sales Executive

Black Pen Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with existing clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prospect and qualify new business leads, and negotiate contracts with potential clients.
  • Identify and develop new partnerships with strategic technology partners, and coordinate with administration, marketing, and legal stakeholders to complete formal agreements.
  • Conduct regular reviews with senior leadership to ensure resourcing is allocated to partnership success.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, and identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed sales targets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business or marketing.
  • At least 4 years of experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • Prior work experience in Africa is required.
  • Strong ability to close deals and negotiate contracts.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly, see around corners, make tough decisions, and influence broadly across the organization.
  • Thorough understanding of the FinTech/Cryptocurrency space.
  • Detailed knowledge of B2B discipline, outgoing client manager, professional, solid B2B sales experience, and third-party distribution channel management.
