Client Relationship Executive

The Relationship Manager- Commercial Banking role at Access Bank Plc involves developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, improve customer satisfaction, and ensure the profitability of our clients' businesses. This role requires a high level of expertise in commercial banking, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and a strong understanding of risk management principles.
About the Role
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve business objectives and improve customer engagement.
- Work closely with Operational Bankers to ensure that customers' lending needs are met and portfolio is 100% self-funded through the attraction of correctly priced deposits.
- Identify and capitalize on cross-selling and up-selling opportunities to increase revenue streams.
- Achieve non-interest revenue targets and continuously improve turnaround times.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met.
- Risk Management: Ensure risk metrics stay within set parameters for the portfolio and support Operational Bankers in all risk-related credit issues.
- Compliance: Adhere to AML/KYC, market conduct, and customer experience policies, as well as complete all compliance training.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Relevant degree and FAIS RE5 competence.
- Minimum 10 years of general banking experience and 5 years as a Relationship Manager in medium/large segment.
- Credit experience is a must, along with proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, teamwork, resilience, stress tolerance, integrity, and work ethic skills.
