At Dymaxa Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled Digital Media Marketing Strategist to join our diverse marketing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies that effectively promote and communicate the company's message and values, engage with their target audience, and drive traffic and conversions to their website.

We offer a competitive salary of R 17000 CTC per annum, commensurate with experience.

Job Description

The Digital Media Marketing Strategist will work closely with the Marketing Manager and Paid Media Specialist in creating and executing social media campaigns. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and coordinating the company's social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification to improve the company's online presence and brand awareness.
  • Managing a strategically driven social content calendar for the company and coordinating the in-house creative production team for effective implementation of the schedule.
  • Helping manage and produce creative and original content (copy, images, and video) for all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube.
  • Setting up and optimizing company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company's social content.
  • Joining relevant conversations on behalf of the company and providing support to current and prospective customers.
  • Working closely with the customer service team as their point of contact to ensure that all customer-facing social complaints/issues are resolved with urgency.
  • Moderating all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community.
  • Providing data analysis (social platforms) and metric reporting to the Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will have:

  • 2-4 years' proven working experience in Social Media Marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations.
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Basic knowledge of web design, web development, CRO, and SEO.
  • A positive attitude, detail-oriented, and customer-focused with good multitasking and organizational ability.
  • Strong understanding of content narrative and storytelling across social channels.
  • Creative thinking and excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Experience in planning, building, and analyzing digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ability to work quickly under pressure, problem-solving, organizational, and time management skills.
