Nelson Mandela University (NMU) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Remuneration and Benefits Coordinator to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Remuneration and Benefits team, coordinating related functions, and ensuring a high-quality service to the NMU community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support in collating and providing information to enable Remuneration and Benefits, contracts management, policy, and business decisions.
- Assist with analyzing employment contract templates for various appointments to identify possible risks.
- Benefits Administration: Coordinate and administer benefits programs, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and NMU policies.
- Remuneration Administration: Provide support with remuneration-related tasks, including salary administration, benefits, and other related functions.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Administer budget provisions for remuneration contingencies.
- Administer the Post Structure on the ITS system.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, document administration, and responding to routine queries.
Requirements:
- Matric certificate.
- Financial qualification would be advantageous.
- 2-5 years' experience in a relevant field, with appropriate competence gained.
