Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

Job Summary:
Nelson Mandela University reserves the right not to make an appointment. In considering candidates for appointment into the advertised posts, preference will be accorded to persons from a designated group in accordance with the approved Nelson Mandela University Employment Equity Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Remuneration and Benefits team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery to the Nelson Mandela University community.
- Collate and provide information to inform Remuneration and Benefits, contracts management, policy, and business decisions.
- Assist with analyzing employment contract templates to identify potential risks.
- Administer benefits and remuneration, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
- Manage budget provisions for remuneration contingencies.
- Administer the Post Structure on the ITS system.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including filing, document administration, and responding to routine queries.
Requirements:
- Matric certification.
- Financial qualification is advantageous.
- 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field, demonstrating gained competence.
