We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team at FirstRand Bank Limited. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our clients, resolving complaints in a timely and professional manner, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality service to clients, exceeding their expectations through proactive and innovative solutions.
- Adapt to varying requirements while working under pressure, handling multiple tasks in a solution-driven environment.
- Plan and implement value-added process improvements, initiatives, and services to deliver on operational strategy and objectives.
- Continuously focus on providing optimal services and improving service delivery processes to meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Take initiative to establish processes to ensure that service goals are met, and legislative requirements are adhered to.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: Degree
- Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar role.
- Complaints, Compliance, and Risk experience.
- An understanding of the financial regulatory landscape.
- Engagement with financial regulators on a regular basis.
- An understanding of consumer regulation, specifically relating to market conduct and treating customers fairly.
- Experience in Market, including remediation implementation and root cause analysis.
- Experience in lending environment.
- Stakeholder management experience.
