Responsibilities
  • Fiscal Management: Effectively manage departmental finances, aligning with strategic company objectives, to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and maximize efficiency.
  • Performance Planning: Develop and drive the Pre-Owned Equipment Sales department to meet budget goals, prepare and present regular reports as required.
  • Leadership: Lead the Pre-Owned Equipment Sales Department team, overseeing responsibilities including performance appraisals, payroll, meetings, employee engagement, and communication.
  • Customer Service: Foster exceptional customer relationships and service by guiding the sales team in securing new business, building partnerships, and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Team Development: Ensure the sales team maintains high standards of coverage, growth, and profitability within their territories, addressing skill gaps through training and development.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification in Sales or Business Management.
  • A proven track record of success and a minimum of 5 years' experience managing a sales team in the materials handling industry.
  • Experience working on the Kerridge system.
  • A valid Code EB/8 driver's license.
  • Strong financial and numerical aptitude.
  • In-depth knowledge of new business development, targeting, and converting competitor accounts.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial skills, adding value through efficient business practices, and experience developing sales strategies.
Estimated Salary Range:$80,000-$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
