Business Development Specialist

A highly skilled and motivated individual is required to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition in our sales department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Meet customer acquisition and revenue growth targets,
- Meet individual and branch sales targets,
- Source new business/clients,
- Maintain client relationships,
- Ensure proper sales administration.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- N-Dip or Bachelor's degree in the sales and marketing field
- Mechanical qualification will be an advantage
- Minimum 3 years sales experience in sales and marketing especially in the selling of services
- Coatings experience
- Experience in the construction industry will be an advantage
- Preparing quotes and proposals
- Planning and pricing projects will be an advantage (estimation)
- Contracts and tenders will be an advantage
Desired Skills:
- Excellent planning skills
- Excellent communication and report writing skills
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent assertiveness skills
- Analytical skills with problem-solving attitude
- Be able to work under pressure
- Excellent negotiation and commercial skills
- Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Projects and PowerPoint (as a minimum)
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Ability to do physical measurements and do required calculation.
