About the Role

The Recruitment Council is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Collective Investments Operations team. As the Head of Collective Investments Operations, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to drive the effective coordination and implementation of all strategic and operational initiatives across our collective investment scheme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Strategic Plans: Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the effective coordination and implementation of all strategic and operational initiatives across our collective investment scheme.
  • Lead the Operations Team: Lead and manage the Collective Investments Operations team to ensure the effective delivery of all operational initiatives.
  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including service providers and distribution partners.
  • Develop and Implement Governance Initiatives: Develop and implement governance initiatives to ensure effective operations of all responsible areas across the business.
  • Drive Prioritization and Implementation: Drive the prioritization and implementation of all strategic and operational initiatives across all business areas.
  • Prepare Reports and Presentations: Prepare reports and presentations to support feedback to all forums, governance committees, and the Board on strategic priorities and initiatives.
  • Represent the Company: Represent the company on all industry and market committees and initiatives.
  • Develop and Maintain Key Partnerships: Develop and maintain key strategic partnerships that will foster and sustain a strong company capability in the market.
  • Provide Expertise and Advice: Provide authoritative expertise and advice to distribution partners, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Build, maintain, and manage relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the Operating Model: Contribute to the process of negotiating objective and realistic service level agreements, monitor appropriateness, and recommend adjustments.
  • Deliver Service Level Agreements: Deliver service level agreements made with clients and internal and external stakeholders to ensure that client expectations are managed.
  • Drive a Culture of Excellence: Drive a culture that guides and directs best practice, fostering an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and cohesiveness.
  • Manage Performance: Effectively manage performance within the team to ensure business objectives are achieved.
  • Compile and Control Budgets: Compile and control budgets to minimize expenditure in alignment with tactical delivery plans.
  • Implement Risk Management: Implement risk management, governance, compliance policies, and ensure there are documented procedures in own practice area, to identify and manage governance and risk exposure liability.
Requirements
  • 7 Years of Relevant Business Experience: 7 years of relevant business experience, with experience in enabling collective investments strategy.
  • Hons Degree in Commerce: Hons degree in the relevant area of commerce.
  • Professional Qualifications: MBA, CFP, CFA, or other professional qualification will be an advantage.
