This role is a senior management position within our organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations in the KZN region. Key Accountabilities:
- Call Centre: Overseeing the monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs), error codes, technical assignments and tracking completion of tasks.
- Technical: Attending weekly meetings with technical managers to discuss progress on call and installation completion.
- Sales: Meeting with sales managers to address any issues and concerns.
- Procurement: Conducting stock take checks, monitoring work-in-progress (WIP) and ensuring projects are invoiced and closed in a timely manner.
- Installations: Signing off deal files before they are sent for invoicing and completing quality control calls after installations are complete.
- Connectivity: Participating in weekly catch-up meetings with teams and approving SIM swaps according to guidelines.
- Finance: Tracking fuel spend, querying discrepancies, ensuring accurate invoicing and approving credit notes.
- Human Resources: Monitoring time and attendance, raising performance and disciplinary issues with HR, conducting KPIs and managing leave requests.
- Health and Safety: Ensuring staff and environment comply with health and safety directives.
Requirements:
- Completed Matric Certificate.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Operations/Management/Project management advantageous.
- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in Operations/Project management in the telecommunications industry.
- Valid license and reliable vehicle essential.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP/software systems.
