Executive Assistant to The CEO

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the CEO’s day-to-day activities.
This position reflects the CEO's brand image. It involves managing schedules, coordinating communication, handling confidential information, and providing administrative support to enable the CEO to focus on strategic decision-making and leadership.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and ensure proper time management.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
- Organise and prepare agendas, presentations, and reports for meetings.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
- Assist with travel arrangements and logistics for the CEO.
- Anticipate the needs of the CEO, proactively solving problems and providing solutions.
- Office Management
- Budget control
- Preparation for Exco meetings, Strat sessions & Conferences
- Minute taking in Exco meetings
- Social functions and events
- Relationship management
JOB INCUMBENT REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years of proven experience as a Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant, or similar role, preferably supporting senior executives.
- Secretarial or office management diploma
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Proficiency in office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace).
- Retail experience will be an advantage
- Knowledge and experience in travel arrangements
- Knowledge and understanding of event coordination
- Strong service orientation
- Ability to maintain good relationships
