Job Summary

Oxyon People Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Digital Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and executing digital marketing strategies to enhance our brand presence and drive business growth in the Southern African market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Digital Marketing Plans

Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing plans in alignment with business objectives and brand strategy. This includes creating and executing campaigns across various digital channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.

Manage and Optimize Digital Presence

Manage and optimize the company's website and social media profiles for the South African market. This includes creating and curating high-quality content, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics to inform future strategies.

Create Engaging Content

Create engaging content for various digital platforms to attract and retain customers. This includes writing and editing blog posts, creating social media content, and developing email marketing campaigns.

Analyse Market Trends and Customer Insights

Analyse market trends and customer insights to identify opportunities for growth. This includes conducting market research, understanding customer behavior, and identifying areas for improvement.

Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging. This includes working with the sales team to develop targeted marketing campaigns and working with the product team to develop marketing materials.

Monitor and Report on Campaign Performance

Monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, utilizing analytics to inform future strategies. This includes tracking key metrics, such as website traffic, social media engagement, and conversion rates.

Stay Up-to-Date with Digital Marketing Trends

Stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and tools. This includes attending industry events, reading industry publications, and participating in online communities.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or Related Field

A bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is required. A master's degree is preferred.

Proven Experience in Digital Marketing

Proven experience in digital marketing is required. Experience in the technology or geospatial sectors is preferred.

Strong Understanding of Digital Marketing Channels and Tools

A strong understanding of digital marketing channels and tools is required. This includes social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and content marketing.

Excellent Communication and Writing Skills

Excellent communication and writing skills are required. This includes the ability to write and edit high-quality content and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

An analytical mindset with experience in using data to drive marketing decisions is required. This includes the ability to track key metrics, analyze data, and make informed decisions.

Knowledge of Content Management Tools
