Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Compliance Officer to join our team at Exceed Human Resource Consultants Ltd. As a key member of our compliance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all compliance-related documentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the department head, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and coordinating with clients.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare and maintain accurate and organized documentation related to projects, including reports, permits, and compliance records.
  • Compliance Assistance: Assist in the preparation and submission of compliance documents and admissions, ensuring adherence to environmental and industry standards.
  • Communication: Liaise with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies to facilitate smooth communication and address inquiries or issues.
  • Project Coordination: Manage project-related correspondence and maintain effective communication channels with clients and stakeholders.
  • Deadline Management: Monitor and track project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of administrative tasks and deliverables.
  • File Organization: Organize and maintain project files, including data entry, record-keeping, and document retrieval.
  • Proposal Preparation: Assist with the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Budget Management: Support the team lead in managing budgets and expenses, including processing invoices and tracking project costs.
  • Fieldwork Coordination: Coordinate fieldwork logistics, including arranging site visits.
Requirements:
  • Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a senior administrative capacity in a legal, sustainability, or compliance entity.
  • Qualifications: A completed diploma or degree is required.
  • Skills: Excellent communication abilities in both English and Afrikaans, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Personality Traits: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, good ethics, integrity, and a high level of professionalism.
