Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance and Operations Coordinator to join our team at RareCruit. As a key member of our finance and procurement teams, you will be responsible for managing financial records, processing payments, and ensuring compliance with budgets.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and organized individual to take on a variety of tasks related to financial management and procurement. You will work closely with our finance and procurement teams to ensure seamless operations and timely delivery of goods and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Duties:
  • Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, invoices, and receipts.
  • Prepare and process payments, including reconciliations of bank accounts.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Assist with payroll processing and statutory returns (if applicable).
  • Handle expense claims and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Monitor and report on financial transactions and variances.
  • Procurement Duties:
  • Source and evaluate suppliers, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Prepare purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and proper authorization.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking with suppliers.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to achieve cost savings.
  • Maintain procurement records and ensure documentation compliance.
  • Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and services and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in finance or procurement roles.
  • Experience working in sustainable building design and construction is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Possession of a passion for sustainability and environmental stewardship.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and regulations is beneficial.
Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum
