Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Technical Administrator to join our team at Bidvest Protea Coin. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing administrative duties, assisting with travel arrangements, and coordinating between departments to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform administrative tasks effectively.
  • Assist and support administrative staff, backing up other Technical Administrators as needed.
  • Assist with travel arrangements when required.
  • Coordinate between departments and operation units to resolve day-to-day administrative and operational problems.
  • Assist with various daily operations, including managing billing schedules and tool registers.
  • Manage and assist with communications within the Operational teams.
  • Generate reports.
  • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.

Projects:
  • E nsure Projects are loaded within 24 hours/48 hours.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders (POs) are raised within 24 hours.
  • Provide weekly feedback on predictions versus actual invoicing.
  • Provide weekly feedback on Work-in-Progress (WIP) liaison with project managers.
  • Oversee project expenses.

Procurement:
  • Create picking slips and POs.
  • Match POs with goods received and ensure Goods Received Vouchers (GRVs) are completed.
  • Liaise with suppliers regarding outstanding equipment and stock items.
  • Manage the open PO list and provide statistics on outstanding issues.
  • Follow up on supplier queries.
  • Manage the open GRV list.
  • Assist with new vendor documentation.
  • Receive delivered supplier, material, and equipment and confirm delivered goods.
  • Ensure all faulty equipment are taken in for repairs.

Finance:
  • Assist the accounts department in accounting functions.

Preferred Qualifications/Attributes/Skills:
  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
  • Reporting skills.
  • Administrative writing skills.
  • M Microsoft Office skills, SAP, and WebX.
  • Professionalism.
  • Problem-solving skills.

Salary: R 80,000 - R120,000 per annum.
