Senior Care Home Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Care Home Operations Coordinator to join our team at Gateway. As a key member of our administration team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our care home.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing the provision of effective and efficient reception services, responding positively to all enquiries from prospective residents, and coordinating admissions with the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager. You will also ensure the Resident contract is presented to the Resident or their representative prior to admission and completed and signed on day one of admission.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the reception services, ensuring a welcoming and approachable environment for residents and their families.
- Respond promptly and professionally to all enquiries from prospective residents, providing accurate information about our care home and services.
- Coordinate admissions, working closely with the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager to ensure a seamless transition for new residents.
- Ensure the Resident contract is completed and signed on day one of admission, collecting initial payment and arranging Direct Debits for ongoing payments.
- Maintain administration systems relating to residents, including tracking resident contracts and payments.
- Liaise with other departments, such as payroll, procurement, finance, and HR, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
- Previous experience as a care home administrator is essential.
- A welcoming and approachable persona, with excellent communication skills.
- Confident in liaising with other members of staff and residents.
- Good time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including access to training and development opportunities.
