We are seeking an experienced Logistics Scheduler to join our Stellenbosch Office team. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships with transporters, clients, and truck drivers while maintaining established admin procedures and ensuring seamless cargo movement.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate records and follow up on truck ETA's to ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster strong communication with clients and negotiate effectively with loading and off-loading points to optimize logistics operations.
  • Develop weekly plans and forecasts to maximize truck movements and improve overall efficiency.
  • Establish key relationships with suppliers, clients, and internal stakeholders to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in a logistics role, preferably in the agricultural sector.
  • A relevant degree is advantageous, combined with strong administrative skills and ability to work in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, and organizational skills, along with excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with suppliers and clients.
  • Familiarity with the local transportation market and regulatory requirements.
