We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team at Placement Point.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with experience in payroll administration to take on a challenging role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.

Job Description
  • Assist in processing the monthly payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and South African labour laws.
  • Process employee deductions for tax, UIF, pension, medical aid, and other benefits, ensuring accurate calculations.
  • Submission of EMP201s and loading of payments.
  • Pulling payroll reports for auditors and EMP501 submissions.
  • Registrations and follow-ups with the Department of Labour.
  • Preparing documentation for statutory registrations.
  • Capturing details on CIPC.
  • BO submissions - CIPC only.
  • Preparing BO Excel for trusts.
Requirements
  • Matric (Grade 12) with Mathematics and Business Studies or Accounting.
  • Prefers further studies or certification in HR or Payroll.
  • A relevant qualification in Human Resources or Business Administration is advantageous but not essential.
  • 0-2 years of experience in an administrative role, particularly in payroll, and office management.
  • Exposure to payroll software such as Sage Payroll Professional, PaySpace, and SimplePay is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Estimated Salary:

R250,000 - R350,000 per annum.
