Business Development Director

We are seeking a Business Development Director to lead our corporate finance efforts, focusing on building relationships with software businesses globally and identifying potential acquisition targets.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, able to articulate our value proposition verbally and in writing. The ideal candidate will have experience in an M&A, VC, PE, corporate finance or investment banking environment and be proficient with various sales software and tools.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Build a robust pipeline of companies in the African region and globally for potential acquisitions.
- Identify and source mid-market software businesses meeting the company's acquisition criteria.
- Nurture leads regularly and over long timelines, helping to progress prospective targets through the pipeline.
- Leverage sales tools and social media platforms to generate new leads and maintain existing relationships.
