Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Store Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing the store operations team to achieve sales, profit, and compliance targets. Key objectives include ensuring efficient store operations, managing expenses, stock, and shrinkage, and maintaining high standards of visual merchandising and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and direct the store operations team to achieve sales, profit, and compliance targets
  2. Ensure efficient store operations, including managing expenses, stock, and shrinkage
  3. Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and customer service
  4. Develop and implement strategies to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a store management role within a retail/FMCG environment with an annual turnover of at least R50 million
  • Extensive people management experience of a large and diverse workforce
  • Financial management experience (budgets, profit and loss statements, financial ratios)
