Job Summary:

We are looking for an exceptional individual with expertise in leadership development, management, and training to drive organisational growth and success. This role will focus on implementing strategies to enhance employee development, improve operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence within the company.

About the Role:
  • This is a senior-level position that requires a high level of autonomy, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • You will be responsible for managing and coordinating various projects, programmes, and initiatives aimed at enhancing leadership capabilities and promoting a positive work environment.
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, developing and implementing training programmes, and conducting evaluations to measure effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for leadership development and succession planning.
  • Design and deliver training programmes that cater to diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create high-quality content for training materials and resources.
  • Evaluate programme effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and recommend adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct research on best practices in leadership development and training methodologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, legislative requirements, and regulatory changes that impact the organisation.
Requirements:
  • Degree or diploma in Leadership Development, Politics, International Relations, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of experience in a management role, preferably in a training and development environment.
  • Strong understanding of liberal philosophy and its application in a political context.
  • Excellent financial management, project management, and system creation/implementation skills.
  • Ability to provide clear and timely feedback, manage internal and external stakeholders, and facilitate programmes both in-person and virtually.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to proofread and edit documents accurately.
  • Commitment to the principles, policies, and programme of action of the Democratic Alliance.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this role is between $80,000 and $120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
