Job Title: Community Experience Coordinator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Community Experience Coordinator to join our team at Merand Corbett & Associates. As a key member of our People and Culture function, you will play a vital role in supporting the recruitment and onboarding process for our tutors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Screening tutor applications and conducting interviews to ensure a smooth recruitment process.
- Chasing compliance documents and references to ensure Safer Recruitment practices are upheld.
- Setting up DBS checks and carrying out teacher barring checks where necessary.
- Supporting the coordination of a recruitment and onboarding process with a solution-focused mindset.
- Working closely with the Recruitment Lead to stay up-to-date on recruitment compliance and escalating/chasing outstanding documents as needed.
- Managing a caseload of candidates and working to get them successfully recruited in line with agreed SLAs.
Tutor Community Engagement:
- Maintenance and follow-ups of post-onboarded candidates to ensure they are ready to be matched with students efficiently.
- Handling incoming queries from tutors and escalating issues where necessary.
- Following up with dormant tutors to re-engage them and match them with students.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Matric &/or Diploma/ Certificate in Administration.
- Excellent prioritization skills to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple agencies and escalate issues as needed.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with transparent record-keeping.
- Empathy and care for the educational outcomes of children in the care system.
- Attention to detail and a solid understanding of business processes.
Desirable Skills:
- Previous experience in recruitment or candidate experience roles.
- Understanding of the education landscape and children's services.
- Knowledge of Special Educational Needs (SEN) provision.
