Overview of the Role:
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Sales Business Growth Professional to drive business expansion and revenue growth in our target regions. This role requires a strong understanding of sales strategies, customer relationship building, and market analysis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and executing plans to expand our market presence, identify new opportunities for revenue generation, and continually seek growth opportunities. They will build strong relationships with customers and partners in the industry, leading to new customer acquisition and further developing existing accounts to increase revenue by product adoption and upselling.
This is a crucial role in launching and growing the sales business for our range of product software and services that enable golf clubs to manage their operations efficiently, driving long-term sustainability and revenue for our business within the region. The primary territories for this role will be within the Gauteng Province and KwaZulu-Natal regions.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion
- Buid strong relationships with customers and partners in the industry, identifying new opportunities for revenue generation
- Analyse and develop a full understanding of market requirements, competitive landscape, and our sales philosophy and products
- Leverage technical tools and quantitative data to develop strategies that lead both clients and our business to success
- Acquire advanced product knowledge and competitive awareness to conduct presentations and negotiations that differentiate our products and services as a technical and commercial solution for potential customers
- Collaborate across internal teams, specifically customer support, marketing, and product teams, to ensure customer success and achievement of business goals
- Contribute to senior management in planning, rollout, and delivery of strategic sales initiatives
Requirements:
- A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in sales and/or account management in a SaaS environment, promoting web/cloud/mobile based products in a relevant industry (e.g., Sports/Leisure/Hospitality)
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Owning a car and holding a valid SA driver's license
- A consultative selling approach
- A proven track record of successful business development and acquiring new customers
- A good understanding of the game of golf, its practices, and environment
- Excellent communication and presentation skills demonstrated in both virtual and face-to-face client engagement settings
