Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire teams to achieve a high-performance culture through data-driven decision-making.
  • Develop and implement forward-thinking business strategies that cultivate strong relationships with key partners, suppliers, and customers.
  • Prioritize customer retention and satisfaction through strategic initiatives and oversee sales and marketing strategies to drive new business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices, optimize profitability by developing competitive service offerings, and manage financial performance, budgeting, and cost control.
  • Implement effective risk management strategies, lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational capabilities, and identify and capitalize on strategic growth opportunities.
  • Manage staffing, performance, and B-BBEE compliance while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) qualification is essential.
  • An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience, including at least 8 years in a senior management role at an Executive Committee level.
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related industry is non-negotiable.
