Internal Sales Executive

Our client is a leading technology partner in South Africa, their story is one of passion, commitment, and innovation. They continue to help more businesses leverage the power of GRC technology to achieve their goals. We are assisting them with the recruitment of an experienced Internal Sales Executive to focus on the Southern Africa region.
Responsible for achieving a set annual new business revenue target for our governance, risk, and compliance software, targeted at mid-market and enterprise private and public entities in Southern Africa. The sale is for a full SaaS solution including services and training, trusted by over 7,000 customer organisations in 140 countries.
Working with your Business Development Manager you will build and prioritise target account lists within your defined territory in alignment with the territory strategic focus, prospect new business opportunities, qualify their goals and pain-points and identify how our solution can help them.
Requirements- Actively seek new sales opportunities and develop a solid pipeline of potential clients for the assigned territory.
- Qualifying new business opportunities within the targeted markets through high-level prospecting, and sales discovery initiatives.
- Gain an understanding of customers' specific business needs and apply product knowledge to meet them.
- Engage with prospective clients via phone calls, emails, and online communication channels (MS Teams & ZOOM) to introduce our products/services and establish rapport.
- Meeting set targets and working closely with the Business Development Manager by methodically working on and following up on a variety of pro-active sales activity.
- Consistently achieving quarterly and annual KPIs.
- Maintaining accurate records of sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce CRM.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager throughout the complete sales cycle.
- Implement territory sales action plans to achieve sales targets and objectives.
- Utilise CRM systems and sales tools to track interactions, update customer records, and generate sales reports.
- Weekly reporting on sales progress and submit accurate forecasts on opportunities.
- Preparing and drafting proposals and quotes.
- At least 2 years proven experience in a software solution sales role.
- Proven ability to prospect through companies to identify the correct individuals.
- Proven capability of running a full sales cycle, from finding a new opportunity to closing deals.
- Demonstrated track-record in achieving targets and capable of hitting sales KPI activity levels.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools/software.
- Excellent presentation capability.
- Target-driven, dynamic, and confident, with a proven track record.
- Fast learner with a passion for sales.
- Ability to initiate conversations with senior personnel.
- Ability to ask questions that demonstrate understanding.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Results Driven with a sense of urgency.

- Competitive by nature.
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Sales or Marketing.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and cloud-based software solutions is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
- Good command of Portuguese is an advantage for this role.

- Proven experience in sales - internal sales.
- Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
