Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at IQVIA. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for securing and retaining business through professional, consultative, and proactive sales activities directed at decision-makers and decision influencers at existing and prospect clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively prospect and leverage potential new business opportunities within a specified territory, utilizing your expertise in the Healthcare industry and sales process knowledge.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned territory, ensuring a strong understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • Work with leadership to identify and prioritize target account opportunities, and develop comprehensive sales plans to drive growth and revenue.
  • Lead the sales process, preparing and delivering sales presentations, and coordinating with contracts/proposals team to develop proposals.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, and maintain visibility to the market requirements of the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • Typically requires years of prior relevant experience in business development, sales, and the Healthcare industry.
  • Requires broad knowledge of the Healthcare landscape, business development, and sales process, as well as the ability to influence others outside of own job area.
