Sales Analyst Job Description

At Recruitment Matters, we're seeking a highly skilled Sales Analyst to join our team. As a Sales Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing sales data, identifying market trends, and providing actionable insights to drive strategic sales decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Data Analysis: Collect and analyze sales data to identify trends, forecast future sales, and develop strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, ensuring our sales strategies are aligned with market dynamics.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Work closely with the sales team to develop effective sales strategies and tactics based on data-driven insights, providing support in setting sales targets and tracking performance.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing, finance, and production departments to ensure alignment of sales strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Pricing Analysis: Analyze pricing structures and strategies to ensure they are competitive and in line with market trends.
  • Data Management: Manage and update sales-related data in CRM systems to ensure accuracy and accessibility for the sales team.
Requirements:
  • Data Analysis Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets to extract meaningful insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and collaborating with team members.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) and CRM software.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data handling and reporting.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues and develop logical solutions.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales analysis, business analysis, or a related field is preferred. Experience in the beverage industry or FMCG is highly desirable.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in data analysis or related fields can be an advantage.
