We are a well-established engineering software solutions company based in Centurion, seeking an experienced Internal Sales Assistant to join our team.

Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of R12 000 - R15 000 per month, plus 1% commission on sales revenue.

Job Description

As an Internal Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the Business Development Executive (BDE) in achieving monthly sales targets. This includes:

  • Developing new leads through prospecting and cold calling activities
  • Qualifying all inbound marketing leads and converting them into opportunities
  • Following up with customers and handling their inquiries
  • Updating customer records in CRM and creating sales quotes and payment notices

You will also be required to:

  • Liaise with the accounts department and technical teams for post-sales delivery and implementation
  • Conduct territory research and market segmentation to identify potential and existing customers
  • Align with and support marketing and sales plans by actioning campaigns
  • Improve product knowledge through eLearning or group coaching sessions
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • At least 1 year of working experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Cold calling skills and experience in assisting BDEs to reach monthly sales targets

You should possess excellent customer service skills, strong communication skills, time management abilities, confidence, and be comfortable with telecommunications.
