Sales Team Leader

Job Title: Regional Sales CoachSalary:$80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job DescriptionMain Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for expanding our customer base while mentoring our sales representatives to achieve their career goals at People Dimension. To excel in this role, you should have previous experience managing a team and taking accountability for meeting targets. You must also be able to remotely supervise a sales team and set profitable goals. Our ideal candidate combines excellent communication skills with a strategic mindset.
The key responsibilities of this position include creating regional sales plans aligned with business objectives, supporting representatives and key account managers with day-to-day operations, evaluating customer and individual performances, reporting on regional sales results, identifying hiring needs, selecting and training new sales representatives, delivering the annual budget for the area of responsibility, analyzing regional market trends, discovering new opportunities for growth, addressing potential problems, suggesting prompt solutions, participating in decisions for expansion or acquisition, suggesting new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction, continually updating own knowledge, providing training and coaching to staff on a regular basis, conducting field visits with staff to evaluate performance and marketing strategy execution, and developing a strong and cohesive team that supports each other.
Daily & Periodic Duties:The successful candidate will be required to attend and host daily huddle meetings, execute daily 4Dx lead measures, deliver daily sales goals, maintain daily system compliance on Repwise, Power BI, Smartsheet, and Sweet process (SOP), attend and host sales team weekly accountability meetings, submit and manage sales team weekly 4Dx results, submit weekly route planners, attend and host sales team monthly accountability meetings, submit monthly business review reports, submit monthly travel planning, deliver monthly 4Dx requirements, deliver monthly sales targets, complete quarterly business reviews, deliver quarterly sales goals and expectations, attend half-year cycle meetings and annual conferences, and attend head office meetings.
Product Knowledge:The successful candidate must have updated product knowledge, competitor knowledge, and market knowledge and understanding.
RequirementsEducation:Candidates must have a Matric certificate and a BSc/BA in business administration, sales, or a relevant field.Experience:
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of sales representative experience. Previous management experience will be an advantage. Candidates must have experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs. They must also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with professionals at all organizational levels. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities are essential.
Skills/Physical Competencies:Candidates must be proficient in Repwise, Power BI, Smartsheet, and Sweet Process (SOP's).Behavioural Qualities:
Candidates must demonstrate a professional attitude, be goal-oriented and ambitious, self-motivated and accountable, possess strong and effective communication skills, be customer relationship-oriented, results-driven, have good business judgment, and be able to build, coach, and improve a sales team.
Desirable Skills & Experience:A minimum of 5 years of sales representative experience is preferred.
