Job Title: Golf Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golf Director to lead our golf operations and provide exceptional member experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all golf-related activities, ensuring the highest standards of service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all golf operations, including course maintenance, staff supervision, and member services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase golf revenue, improve member satisfaction, and enhance the overall golf experience.
  • Oversee the planning and execution of golf events, tournaments, and leagues, ensuring seamless logistics and exceptional member experiences.
  • Collaborate with the greenskeeper to maintain the course's condition, ensuring it meets the highest standards of playability and aesthetics.
  • Supervise and train golf staff, including caddies, to ensure they provide exceptional service and adhere to club rules and regulations.
  • Monitor and control labor costs, ensuring efficient use of resources and maintaining high levels of member satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote golf activities, events, and services, increasing revenue and member engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with members, staff, and external partners, ensuring a positive and inclusive club culture.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive business growth and improve member experiences.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in golf operations management, preferably in a similar role or with a strong background in golf management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff and members.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and drive revenue growth.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the club and its members.
