Job Description

As a German Speaking Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of existing clients and accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and offering quotations for travel arrangements. You will work closely with Business Account Managers to maximize opportunities and pass on relevant leads.

Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Manage a portfolio of existing clients and accounts to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Customer Service: Offer first-class customer service at all times, responding to client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Quotation Provision: Provide quotations for travel arrangements, including flights, hotels, rail, car hire, and airport parking, ensuring that clients receive competitive pricing and excellent service.
  • Card Payments: Take card payments from clients to facilitate transactions.
  • Collaboration: Work with Business Account Managers to identify new opportunities and pass on relevant leads to ensure continued growth and success.
  • Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the booking process, working closely with Ticketing and Finance teams to ensure smooth reservations and ticket issuance.

Requirements:

  • Languages: Fluent in German (C1 level or above).
  • Travel Experience: Advantageous but not essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately R24,000 - R28,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, a dynamic work environment, and the chance to work with a talented team.
