We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at Three Ships. As a key member of our front-line staff, your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional patient care and support to our medical eyecare practice.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  1. Answer all incoming calls and schedule appointments in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication with patients and staff.
  2. Provide accurate and efficient responses to patient inquiries, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  3. Gather necessary information from patients and insurance providers, verifying coverage and benefits as needed.
  4. Prepare and manage outgoing mail, including correspondence and reports, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
  5. Check, sort, and forward emails, prioritizing tasks to ensure prompt response times.
  6. Place supply orders when necessary, maintaining an adequate inventory of materials and equipment.
  7. Monitor and update records and files, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  8. Offer general administrative support to the practice, contributing to a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A minimum of [X] years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in medical office management.
  • Proficiency in common online systems, such as Gsuite and MS Office (especially Excel and Word).
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
