Business Administrator for Project Support and Reception

We are seeking a skilled Business Administrator to provide project support and reception services at the V&A Waterfront. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating administrative tasks, managing documents, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to project managers, including coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, and document management;
- Manage the reception function, including answering phones, emails, and WhatsApp messages, and recording information;
- Maintain accurate records and files, both physical and digital;
- Assist with general office duties, such as copying, scanning, and filing;
- Deal with tenant and patron queries in a timely and professional manner;
- Process invoices for payment and ensure compliance with financial policies;
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration;
- 3+ years of relevant working experience in an administrative or management role;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software;
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Certificate;
- AutoCAD knowledge and experience;
- Council Submission Process Experience;
- Fraxion (or related financial management knowledge);
- Building/infrastructure/construction industry knowledge;
- Construction and Building Codes;
- Health and Safety;
Estimated Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum, depending on experience.
