Key Responsibilities:
  1. Greeting Visitors: Welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor, direct them efficiently, and notify staff of visitor arrivals.
  2. Answering Calls: Manage incoming calls, redirecting as needed, and providing basic information to callers.
  3. Administrative Support: Assist with various clerical tasks, including data entry and managing office supplies.
  4. Handling Correspondence: Sort and distribute mail and emails, and handle outgoing mail as required.
  5. Maintaining Reception Area: Keep the reception area tidy and presentable, ensuring all necessary stationery and materials are stocked.
  6. Problem Resolution: Address inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  7. Ad Hoc Requests: Attend to requests from management, showcasing flexibility and dedication to supporting the team.

Qualifications:

  • National Senior Certificate or Equivalent: Meet the minimum educational requirement.
  • Administrative Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not always required.
  • Training and Skills: Training in administrative procedures or office management is beneficial.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using office equipment and basic computer applications.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
