Job Title: HR Business Partner - Senior HR Generalist

This role requires an experienced HR professional with a strong understanding of business operations and human capital development. The ideal candidate will be able to support the COO and CFO in driving HR best practices and talent development strategies.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with implementing HR strategy aligned to the company's values, promoting a positive organizational culture and employee productivity.
  • Create development plans for employees, providing coaching and guidance where necessary.
  • Develop and update job profiles for all positions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
  • Manage employee-related matters with sensitivity and respect.
  • Assist directors with recruitment activities, including interviewing, exit interviews, and candidate assessments.
  • Coordinate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth transition to the company.
  • Manage internal and external training programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the Employment Equity Committee and Social and Ethics Committee.
  • Collaborate with Finance to ensure BBB-EE scorecard requirements are met.
  • Update HR policies to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare HR-related documents, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Submit EE reports, Workplace Skills Plan, and Annual Training reports on time.
  • May be required to liaise with employee benefit providers and foster effective relationships.
  • May be required to assist with contacting recruiters and psychometrics services.
  • Monitor disciplinary hearings, ensuring fairness and consistency.
  • Administer IOD claims to the Compensation Fund.
  • Responsible for keeping up to date with Department of Labour Gazettes and implementing compulsory requirements.
  • Responsible for driving CSI-related initiatives, such as the company Education Trust.
  • Assist with Labour Department audits.
  • Perform other ad-hoc administrative and compliance-related tasks.
