We are seeking a skilled Care Home Administrator to support the smooth operation of our care home.

This role is ideal for an experienced administrator looking to make a positive impact in a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Home Manager and other departments to provide exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective and efficient reception services to residents and visitors.
  • Liaise with prospective residents, responding to their queries and providing information about our care home.
  • Coordinate admissions with the Home Manager or Deputy Home Manager, ensuring a seamless transition for new residents.
  • Maintain accurate administration systems related to residents, including contracts and payments.
  • Manage day-to-day payroll, completing returns and ensuring timely payment to staff members.
  • Liaise with various departments regarding procurement, finance, and HR matters.
  • Cover reception duties in the absence of the receptionist, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as a care home administrator is essential for this role.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor is vital for interacting with residents, staff, and external parties.
  • Excellent time management skills are necessary for prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
