Sales Director

The Sales Director will be responsible for overseeing sales activities, developing, and implementing sales strategies, conducting market research, and building relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Existing Network Development

  • Develop and implement a territory business plan annually in advance.
  • Oversee and facilitate site business plans for each service station in the designated area.
  • Ensure all business plan volume targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
  • Monitor monthly performance and agreed action plans to ensure targets are achieved.
  • Report site progress and recommendations to the management team.
  • Monitor sales (fuel purchases) and identify areas where sales are being lost.
  • Monitor and benchmark external trends, including competitors, regulations, industry trends, structure, and new clients.
  • Identify new opportunities for business for E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD, including but not limited to new commercial customers and new retail service stations.
  • Monitor and regularly conduct field visits and research to establish competitor activity in the Group area.
  • Scan the Group territory to identify potential new locations for new retail service stations, truck stops, or commercial installations.
  • Network within the industry to establish profitable and well-located service stations with limited or expired tenure to convert the site.

Stakeholder Relations

  • Manage and maintain relations with retailers and franchises in the network, along with the business consultants.
  • Develop and grow relationships with retailers and franchisees in E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD.
  • Establish customer satisfaction in respect of service standards, customer care, and customer responsiveness.
  • Manage and cultivate existing relationships and expand recurring revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and service providers to drive the values of E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD.

New Business Development

  • Identify, screen, and pursue new opportunities for business for E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD, including but not limited to new commercial customers and new retail service stations within the region.
  • Scan the Group territory to identify potential new locations for new retail service stations, truck stops, or commercial installations.
  • Negotiate and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop, review, and report on the sales process.
  • Support the marketing and branding activities, acting as a business ambassador.
  • Understand competitors in the market to ensure E2E Staffing (PTY) LTD remains relevant and ahead of the game.
  • Work with the team of business consultants to put together a development and performance plan that would set the team up for success.

Requirements

  • Located in the Northern Cape.
  • The position involves intensive business travel within the Northern Cape region.
  • Proven experience in sales or business development.
  • Knowledge on the petroleum/energy sector and market trends is essential.
  • Good understanding of the complete value chain from sales, financing, to operation and maintenance.
  • Able to develop and implement sales strategies.
  • Ability to identify and engage business stakeholders.
  • Advanced communication skills and negotiation skills.
  • High personal drive, independent work style, result-oriented, and open to changing environments.
  • Proven analytical skills.
  • English and Afrikaans language.
