Job Title: Technical Sales Representative

Armstrong Appointments is seeking a skilled Technical Sales Representative to drive sustainable growth and profitability in the South African region. The successful candidate will focus on selling capital equipment for inspection and coding to various industries, contributing to the company's continued success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Understand manufacturing processes of customers
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of internal sales processes & sales cycle
  • Gain extensive product and application knowledge
  • Apply technical capital sales knowledge to drive sales growth
  • Stay up-to-date with competitors' products and services
  • Develop industry application knowledge
  • Apply equipment application and environmental knowledge to solve customer problems
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Develop geographical knowledge and customer locations
Qualifications:
  • Matric
  • Diploma in Sales and Marketing
  • Relevant technical qualification will be advantageous
  • 3-5 years experience in capital equipment sales
  • 3-5 years in a technical position within the inspection and coding industry
