Fempower is seeking a highly skilled Senior Sales and Business Development Professional to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a results-driven professional with exceptional sales and business development skills to drive growth in our Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) division. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the BESS industry.

Key Responsibilities- Business Planning: Develop a comprehensive sales and business plan for the BESS division, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
- Sales Strategy: Design and implement a sales strategy that drives revenue growth, focusing on key performance areas such as customer engagement, lead generation, and conversion rates.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the BESS industry, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.
- Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and aligned objectives.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering).
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in sales and business development, preferably in the BESS industry.
- Skills: Proven sales and business development skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Location: Based in Southern Africa region, with frequent travel to customer and non-customer sites.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary of R750,000 per annum, plus performance-based bonuses and benefits.
