HR Assistant

Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the Human Resources team at Energy at Work Projects. This position is designed to provide hands-on learning and exposure to various aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, and HR administration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in sourcing candidates through various channels, including job boards and professional networks.
- Coordinate interview schedules and logistics, ensuring seamless communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate databases and records, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing necessary documentation and materials.
- Assist in preparing HR-related reports and documents, such as employee handbooks and policy manuals.
- Support in organizing HR-related events and activities, including training sessions and workshops.
- Assist in handling basic employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate responses.
- Participate in employee engagement initiatives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Support in maintaining positive employee relations, fostering open communication and resolving conflicts.
- Participate in HR training sessions and workshops, staying up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.
Requirements:
- Matriculation or equivalent qualification.
- Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong attention to detail.
