The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, and hiring qualified candidates. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in recruitment planning for current and future talent needs, collaborating with department heads and HR as needed
  • Crafting job requisitions and ensuring all signoffs are in place for various stages of the recruitment process
  • Developing and implementing local talent engagement strategies to support the attraction of talent
  • Publishing job ads on career pages, job boards, and social networks
  • Developing and implementing referral generation strategies, leveraging existing team members, university resources, corporate partnerships, industry organizational relationships
  • Maintaining solid industry awareness and market trends

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • 2-3 years of proven recruitment experience, preferably in high-volume or technical recruitment
  • Experience in Edtech or Education as a HR Recruiter is highly advantageous
  • Proficiency with productivity and recruitment platforms, including Google Suite tools
  • Proficiency with recruiting and sourcing platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Successfactors, or Greenhouse
  • Proven ability to headhunt beyond the use of platforms and build talent pipelines
  • Strong administration skills
  • Good typing skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent computer literacy and MS Excel experience
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and professional conduct
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines

Salary: R550,000 - R650,000 per annum, depending on experience.
