**NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT**

**OBJECTIVES OF THE ROLE**:

- Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities.
- Developing new-business proposals & presentations that create opportunities and partnerships.
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a sales pipeline for short/medium/long term in accordance with targets.
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies to achieve strategic goals

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers
- Generate new leads, identify, and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select deals in line with strategies
- Establish deal structures, pricing and negotiate prices for productive bids and proposals
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
- Grow sales to achieve objectives and targets

**PREFERRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**
- Sales and Marketing Tertiary Qualification
- 3-5 Years New Business Development experience in the Building & Paint industry
- Previous experience in “Hard Sell Sales” to prospective Building/Paint Industry clients
- Successful track record in Business-to-Business and End User Sales Negotiations
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Develop & Maintain relationships with stakeholders at different levels of authority
- Understanding of the Sales Process & the ability to close sales
- Proven track record of Sales to Managing Agents, Body Corporates, Estate Agents, Sport facilities, hotels ect.
