**PURPOSE OF ROLE**

To generate revenue and achieve sales targets by selling the company solutions to funeral parlours, with emphasis on building strong relationships, understanding stakeholder business needs, and providing solutions that meet those needs. The solutions that will be provided includes:

- Risk Underwriting consulting
- Administration services
- Provision of technology for the client
- Product development solutions
- Business improvement services

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Contribute to the net profit and growth targets for business.
- Achieve business targets.
- Deliver exceptional service that exceeds customers expectations through proactive, innovative, and appropriate solutions.
- Understand funeral products and solutions offered by the organization and keep up to date with industry trends and advancements.
- Initiate a plan of action to target identified clients and stakeholders to effectively create interest in proffered solutions.
- Identify and contact potential clients through various methods, such as cold-calling, networking, and referrals.
- Track and measure sales performance through meeting or exceeding weekly sales targets.
- Build relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide viable interest and uptake on the saleable solution options.
- Analyze client needs and identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling products and services.
- Successfully navigate the policy administration system platform to exhibit business solutions with finesse, providing excellent customer service throughout the sales process, displaying a deep understanding of the solutions, and resolving possible issues in the process.
- Provide product presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders, showcasing the benefits and features of the solutions.
- Generate quotes for stakeholders from insurers.
- Actively manage scheduled visits with stakeholders and maintain strong relationships through regular follow-ups and continuous engagement.
- Produce reports that track sales activity and progress, including updates on successful sales and pipeline forecasts.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify ways to increase sales revenue and achieve Organizational goals.

**Minimum Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Must be able to generate new sales for the business.
- Willing to accept a sales target.
- Have a network of potential clients.
- BCom degree.
- Must have a Tertiary qualification / degree in related field.
- FAIS Accreditation is mandatory.
- RE Certification is mandatory
- Minimum 5-10 years of proven sales experience within the funeral insurance industry.
- Product and solution competence
- A valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle is essential.
- Must be tech-savvy and computer literate.
- You need to be able to speak English, the ability to speak more than 1 South African language would be advantageous.
- Proven track record in maintaining corporate clients and face to face engagements.
- Relationship management and effective stakeholder engagement
- Demonstrate sales behaviors.
- Demonstrate CRM behaviors (deal with difficult clients, competitive, achieving, persistent)
- Be entrepreneurial (set ambitious targets, self-reliant, financial prosperity in high-risk environment, autonomy)
- Skilled in the art of persuasion and able to effectively communicate the purpose and benefits of our products.
- Customer-focused and skilled at building genuine rapport through effective communication.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to approach potential Members with professionalism and charm, leaving a lasting impression through engaging interactions.
- Results-oriented, highly self-disciplined, and exceptionally motivated to achieve and exceed set targets.
- Enthusiastic in attending set appointments, handle pressure and must have a high level of resilience.
