**Position Overview**: We are currently seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Short-Term Insurance Brokers. In this role, you will be responsible for advising clients on a range of short-term insurance products and tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and prospect potential clients for short-term insurance products.
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Provide personalized advice and guidance on insurance policies and terms.
- Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and cancellations efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and follow-up.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as an insurance broker or sales representative (experience in short-term insurance is preferred).
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using insurance brokerage software and tools.
- Relevant insurance qualifications and licenses (preferred but not required).
**Compensation**:
- **Training Period**: During the first 3 months, you will receive a stipend of R2,000 per month to support your training and initial sales efforts plus commissions of policies sold.
- **Post-Training**: After the training period, compensation will be commission-only, with the potential to earn min R10,000 or more per month based on sales performance. Our competitive commission structure includes:
- **New Business Commissions**: 10% of the premium for new policies sold.
- **Renewal Commissions**: 6% of the premium for policy renewals.
- **Life Cover Commissions**: 80% multiple of premium for new polices sold.
