**Job Context**:
Servest Office Services ,a business unit of the Servest Group is seeking to appoint an experienced HR Officer to join their team.In this role you will be responsible for providing professional and comprehensive Human Resources services and support to the business units.The areas of focus include - Employee Self-Service (ESS), HR Digital system(s), Policies & Procedures etc. Working with the HR team, Payroll and HR Director, the successful incumbent will ensure a high-quality HR service is delivered to the HR team and business consistently.

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or in a relevant Human Resources technical discipline
- 5-10 years related experience in Human Resources
- Proven experience in administration and explanation of HR policies and procedures
- Thorough understanding of South African labour law. i.e. BCEA, LRA, Employment Equity, Skills Development, Health & Safety
- Full MS Office skills and knowledge is essential
- Experience and exposure to HR Systems like Sage HR system

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Ensures adherence to recruitment policies and procedures as well as being responsible for the recruitment process in its entirety (Advertising jobs ,setting up interviews and conducting background checks and preparing offer letters including engagement packs )
- Act as the first point of contact for all employees with regards to HR queries and where applicable direct interaction with the operations team
- Provide day-to-day administration of HR policies and programs and ensure that they are effectively communicated to all employees
- Provide support to managers on employee related queries
- Provide support to regional Recruitment and Employee Relations teams as required
- Ensure smooth delivery of on-boarding, training and compliance initiatives
- Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding process to the employee exit procedures.
- Ensure that all the relevant information relating to payroll administration are submitted on time.
- Provide guidance on employee relations related issues for the respective countries and areas looked after and act as a liaison between the relevant parties involved
- Deliver advice and guidance to Management/ Staff on matters related to policies and procedures.
- Ensure and maintain the integrity of the leave system.
- Participate in successful implementation of business aligned HR initiatives Ensure, manage, and maintain the integrity of the information captured on HR Digital Systems
- Support staff on the Performance Management process, from KPI's setting, mid-year reviews and end of year reviews, done through the ESS system
- Work with HRD and Senior Managers to drive and co-ordinate HR programs
- To provide efficient remuneration and benefits administration service and HR support through the processing and administration of the company’s remuneration and benefits
- To perform all remuneration and benefits and HR related functions and administration accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in projects such as workplace skills plans, skills development and Employment Equity
- Ensure that HR and Management Control reports are completed and submitted timeously for BBBEE and Internal Audit purposes.
